Pugi Il Forno which is officially called Focacceria san Marco was a real letdown—a total tourist trap. They claim to be authentic, but there’s nothing special about it. Their pizza was basically pre-cooked, stale flatbread with basic ingredients, and the focacca sandwich, while stuffed with fillings, had dry bread that cut my mouth with each bite. To make things worse, the customer service was terrible. They said we could use the restroom if we bought something, but then denied having one after our purchase.
