We stayed at Hotel Magenta during our trip to Florence, and while the location is excellent, our overall experience was disappointing. If you're traveling by train like we did, the hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to reach from the station. Since Florence is a smaller city, most attractions are within a 30-minute walk from the hotel, which is a big plus. The hotel has a small restaurant, and our room included breakfast, which was decent. The breakfast offerings were good, and the staff's attention in breakfsst and service were commendable. However, the main issue was the bathroom in our room. It was extremely small, and the water pressure in the hot water was non-existent, so we ended up taking cold showers throughout our stay. To make matters worse, there was a leak, and we could hear the water dripping all night. Despite informing the reception multiple times, they did nothing to address the situation or offer us a room change. We don't recommend this hotel. ...More
