I am living in the New York City but unfortunately I cannot visit there as many as I want to.
There are over 200,000 works of modern and contemporary works in the evolving collection. Immerse yourself in Dali, Kahlo, Lichtenstein, Matisse, Picasso, Rousseau, Van Gogh, Warhol, Czanne, Chagall, Wyeth, etc.
The museum is well-run, with attendants stationed throughout the lobby to help with ticketing and coat/bag check. There are also Information stations with museum maps and employees on each floor, in case you get lost or have specific questions.
The space is a mix of the usual museum galleries, larger halls, outdoor areas, and a nice cafe on the 5th floor.
It is one of my favorite places in Manhattan, and I can't recommend it enough to locals and tourists alike!
