Delicious Thai
Reviewed Saturday, January 26, 2019
We visited this restaurant after attending the New York Times Travel Show. Walking distance to Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, it is kind of tide between tables but the time we were there it wasnt full and we comfortable ate our food.
I got Lemongrass Chicken and my wife got Garlic Chicken Noodle Soup. Sauce on the chicken was little spicy but sweet and delicious. Sticky rice was kind of small portion but salad sauce had very remarkable taste. Also, I found the Garlic Chicken Noodle Soup to be the least salty and most mild. It reminded me of Cantonese noodle soup bases. As for the Yen Ta Fo, it was served with very thin angel hair noodles and the broth was a thick and rich bean pasty pink. Don't let the color fool you as it was so delicious.
Overall, I can say that Zoob Zib is good Thai Cookhouse on price, no wait time, and comfort of the dining room. I would come back again and try their other soups, and might even try some of their stir-fried dishes!
