Best Ramen

We had lunch there and even though it was quite busy, service was fast. We seat down by the bar and watched the chefs preparing our meal, it was pure entertainment.

We ordered a set of shrimp buns as our first course. They were fabulous. The texture had a slight crunch, shrimp were covered in each bite, and sticky bun was soft. The buns were rich and wonderful.

For my main course I had the chicken pho. It was good, although I added their Ssam sauce for my own liking. The momofuku ramen was not disappointing at all. My partner got "extra spicy pork ramen". When I read "extra spicy" I figured it would have a little kick, like everything else with that label, but I was mistaken. My partner didnt even bother to flinch an eye. Perhaps they had toned down the spice as a precaution given, we were both sampling the Ssam sauce before the buns arrived.

For desert we had the caramelized white chocolate pie. It was also delicious. The sweet and creamy flavor rolled off my tongue but it was too much for one person so I am glad that we shared the desert.

Conclusion; I was pretty happy with what I eat and how the ramen should be. If you want ramen, I mean real ramen, please go and eat at one of Chef David Chang's Noodle Bars.
