I go often to Paterson, NJ for my Turkish grocery store and bakery. I went several times this place. They are importing their baklava in frozen directly from Turkey. Therefore their taste profile is original. Also they have very large selection of baklava. They also have kunefe which they prepare into kunefe stove also imported from Turkey just for kunefe baking.

The kunefe here is freshly made to order (takes around 12-15 minutes for a small) and is topped afterwards with its own syrup. While fresh they even add more pistachios on top of it.

The baklava here is honestly the best I have had and I'll definitely revisit.
Unfortunately they have some problem over the service, they have to realize this is USA and not a Turkey they need be more customer friendly and it is in very crowed strip mall area which sometimes difficult to find parking. ...More
