My friend and I had lunch at Tavernetta 29 this past Sunday in Trastevere, Rome, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The restaurant has a spacious indoor dining area and a few outdoor seats, so we didn’t have to wait for a table, which was a plus. We ordered the ravioli with truffle, rigatoni cacio e pepe, and shared the pollo romano. While the service was a bit slow, the food made up for it. The ravioli was rich and flavorful, with a generous amount of truffle. The rigatoni cacio e pepe had the perfect balance of cheese and pepper, and the pollo romano was tender and well-seasoned. Overall, despite the slightly delayed service, the quality of the dishes made it worth the wait.
