I went there many times it is top of the mountain, going up there kind of tricky and long drive. You might think not so many people goes there but it is not true its very popular tourist attraction point.
There is a car park at the base (which is 3,000 pesos) and the hill looks steeper than it is (I made it to the top without too much hassle).
If you don't stop to admire the view, check out the souvenirs or taste the takeaway food on offer at the stalls which line one side of the path, it will take you less than five minutes to reach the top, where you can enjoy fantastic views of the mountains on your left and the city on your right.
It is not easy getting a good photo of the statue, especially if you want to be in it, because there is not a lot of room to move, all things considered (space, height of statue - which is 26 meters, people).
