This is a country (campestre) style hotel in Cartagena's Bocagrande (big mouth) area. Hotel Caribe is the oldest hotel in Cartagena. It is the first hotel that had Cartagena national monument and heritage of all Cartagena. Hotel has the 33.000 meter square biggest area which contains restaurants pool, souvenir shop, hair stylist, out and indoor areas, gym, tennis court and beach. First building is Colonial style but they add two more building and extend to hotel 363 rooms capacity. I really liked their pool which is the biggest pool (half Olympic) I sawed in Cartagena. They also have benches and bar in the beach. Unfortunately I cannot say good things about the tennis court. That is not a court it is a joke... Also in they have dear, toucan and parrot birds, and monkeys in their garden which are free walking around. I should say that their room especially bathroom was old and needs renovation. Room had mini bar, nice amenities, beach view, flat TV and double size bed. Unfortunately they didn't have kettle for make coffee or tea. ...More
